my process

I only work in the greater Spokane area.

1. Contact me to get on my wait list, confirm labor quote, and figure out yardage.

2. Purchase your fabric. I can help with recommendations if needed.

3. Contact me once you have purchased your fabric….so I know you are ready.

4. Pre-wash your fabric in 6-8 yd increments in hot water and dry on high. Promptly remove from dryer and fold to eliminate wrinkles. Some fabrics can’t be washed (you can always wash a test strip to see how it turns out). If you don’t pre-wash your fabric beforehand your slipcovers will be dry-clean only.

5. We will then schedule drop off (smaller items like chairs and ottomans). For on-site pinning (sofas and loveseats), please refer to the on-site pinning schedule below. Or you are always welcome to bring your items to me.

6. Once I have your item, turnaround time is usually 2-3 weeks.

On-Site Pinning Schedule:

1. I come and measure and give you exact yardage amount. I collect a $100 - $250 non-refundable deposit which will be used toward your project.

2 When you get the fabric, wash and dry and then bring fabric, and one of each kind of cushion to me.

3. I will sew all of the cushions and bring cut pieces to your house by appointment to pin in person (this usually takes 2-3 hours). I will leave all finished cushions with you and take pinned pieces with me to sew.

4. I will deliver and fit the finished slipcover.

Additional charge for this service begins at $75 and depends on your location. We can usually complete this process within 2 weeks after fabric is delivered.
